My unique idea in arrangements for easy gigging
One arrangement works interchangeably for solo, duo, trio, quartet. I’ll add a string bass part eventually for a quintet.
SOLO The first violin part can solo
DUO Violin I and cello provide the melody and strong bass line
TRIO Violins I, II and cello create a well-rounded trio. The violin II part can be used by the viola if preferred
QUARTET Standard violins I and II, viola and cello
What is the benefits of one set for solo, duo, trio or quartet?
You won’t have the expense of all of those other sets to purchase and also wonder what is in the trunk of your car at the moment for the next performance. Even beyond this convenience, the parts are as true to the original intentions of the composers as much as possible.
New music arrangements can be exciting and energizing
The arrangements are all very sight-readable to the professional musician while an amateur group will find them equally playable with minimum practice. I have visited the original manuscripts to help stay as true to the character of the originals as possible.
